But my Moskva captain doesn't have IFHE and IFHE really isn't a skill that's needed for the Moskva. It seems to be a ship that really does a lot better if you have IFHE. At the same time, I don't take AFT on my USN DD captains, but it can be useful on the Atlanta.Īnother more current case for me is the Kutuzov. ![]() The Atlanta is a glaring example, since it's nominally a cruiser, though it seems to do better with DD captains. I have always done the latter, but I have to say that occasionally one runs into a premium ship that has captain skill needs that don't mesh well with your regular captains. Like others have said create account and play on the test servers, you start with a t8 ship in most lines so easy to get and play with them all to see what suit youĪs you are asking for hte Best Premium I'd go for the Tirptiz with a high ranked Captain and the right upgrades for Secondaries, you'll eat most DD and Cruisers alive with the range, you'll fire you secondaries before they get to fire torps.Question: Do you guys use dedicated captains for your premium ships or do you use premium ships as trainers for your regular tech tree ships' captains? It's really down to what suits your style of play. Monarch is similar to the NC but I feel it don't hit as hard.Īmagi/Kii kinda the same as the Bismarck/Tirptiz as in they are pretty much the same ship the main difference KII has torps. (Ie cruisers and Battleships stupid enough to give you a broadside) The downside of the NC and Alabama is that they are easy to find and hit their citadels. ![]() North Carolina is great for hnting carriers with the best AA setup for the tier, Citadel someone with the NC and they will certainly know about it. Bow tank the other BB's and hunt them down, then pop out the torps as a reminder you have them as you sail passed the broadside. The Tirptitz has lest secondary and AA firepower but does have torps. Personally I'd go for the Bismarck and/or Tirptiz.
